Two gold medalists from Don Bosco College of Engineering in Academics at Goa University Saiesh Karwarker, Batch 2020, Civil Engineering and Sibga Shaikh, Batch 2020, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of Don Bosco College of Engineering secured first place in respective disciplines at Goa University at the Convocation Ceremony held on August 26. The Governor of Goa PS Sreedharan Pillai awarded the students with gold medals for securing first rank in academics. Saiesh Karwarker has been awarded with Sumant D Wagh Memorial Prize and J Inacio Gracias Gold Medal while Sibga Shaikh is awarded with Late Mrs Sushilabai Vasant Khandeparkar Gold Medal.
Karwarker and Shaikh graduated from Don Bosco College of Engineering in June 2020. Saiesh Karwarker was working in Worley India Pvt Ltd while Sibga Shaikh is currently working as a Senior Analyst at Capgemini, Pune.
