4 injured in mishap on Belagavi-Goa road

BELAGAVI
Four persons were injured, one of them seriously, when when two cars collided with each other on the Belagavi-Goa road via Chorla late Monday evening.

According to Khanapur police station, the driver of a Goa-registered car was proceeding towards Goa and a Karnataka-registered car travelling from Goa to Belagavi collided with each other near a turn at Jamboti.

All the injured persons were shifted to a government hospital and later shifted to a private hospital, police said. All the injured persons are from Belagavi.

While the Karnataka car has been severely damaged, the Goa car sustained minor damages. A case has been registered at the Khanapur police station.
