A 93-year-old woman Angelina Fernandes was administered the COVID-19 vaccine at St Joseph’s High School Calangute. This centre is managed by Lions Club of Calangute and Leo Club of Calangute.
President of Lions Club of Calangute Lion Murtaza Mathernwala said, “We administered the COVID-19 vaccine to Angelina, the oldest person to get vaccinated. We hope that this action will encourage people to get vaccinated. We are getting tremendous response and the numbers are increasing day by day."
