The Gomant Kala Association Margao, in association with the Directorate of Art and Culture and Ravindra Bhavan Margao have organised ‘Abhinav Gomant Sangeet Mohotsava’ on May 28 and 30 between 2.30-6.30 pm. The music festival is for the artists between 12-25 age group including students of school-colleges and music schools. Participants will allow a team of five including a male and a female singer, harmonium player, tabla players and a compeer. Together they have to sing a song, a duet, and present a ‘jugalbandi’ of harmonium and tabla. Each will get max 30 minutes for the presentation. Each team can use only harmonium, tabla and taal. The music festival will get guidance from the experts.
