The Kala Academy Goa invites applications from music loving candidates for enrolment in the various courses in the Faculty of Indian Music and Dance viz. vocal, harmonium, tabla, bharatnatyam and kathak for the year 2022.The minimum age limit for getting enrolled is 10 years and maximum 35 years as on December 31, 2021. Those interested may collect the prospectus from Kala Academy Goa, Old Secretariat Building, Opp. Directorate of Accounts, from Sept 27 to Oct 14. The last date for submission of applications duly filled in, along with the xerox copy of the birth certificate is Oct 14. The aptitude test for Vocal, Harmonium and Tabla will be on Oct 21, at Quarters No. D-3-1 and D-3-3 from 2.00 to 5.00 pm and the aptitude test for kathak and bharatanatyam will be on Oct 22 at Quarters No. D-2-1 and D-2-2 from 10 to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. Similarly, applicants seeking admissions in vocal, tabla and harmonium at Kala Academy’s music centres, may collect the prospectus from Sept 27 to Oct 14 at centres.
