The Ahimsa Rath Yatra organised nationwide on the occasion of the 2550th year of Bhagwan Mahavir Nirvan will continue till October this year, and Goa welcomed the Yatra at Tapobhumi, Shree Dutta Padmanabh Peeth, Shree Kshetra Tapobhumi Gurupeeth in the presence of Governor PS Shreedharan Pillai. “My visits to this Tapobhumi fill me with spiritual energy,” said the Governor while addressing the event as the chief guest in the presence of Padma Shree Brahmeshanandachary Swami and Maharishi Bhrigu Peethadheeshwar Goswami Sushilji Maharaj. The Governor did the Rath puja and showed green signal to the further journey of the Rath Yatra. He also offered floral tribute to the Rashtrasant Sadguru Brahmanandachary Swami’s samadhisthali. The Rath Yatra began on December 24 last year and will continue till October.
