Fomento had started Fomento Scholars Program in the year 2014. Under this program some talented students who have joined Std XI Science in this academic year in higher secondary schools based in Goa are selected. They are guided and helped to join SDSMT, a reputed Engineering college in USA.Till date 27 boys and girls have joined this college.Those who are graduated are either pursuing Post graduation or are employed in reputed companies like Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Lyft, Freeport Mcron, Cargill etc. It is expected that these students remain connected with Goa and help Goan students after they start earning.
Students of Std 11 science of this academic year with minimum score of 85% at Std 10 and interested to join Engineering at SDSMT, USA after passing Std 12th should visit our website www.fomentoscholars.org and apply on or before November 30, 2021.
