Yuvak Biradari Mumbai has organized an all-India level competition and intends to nominate around 100 youth from Goa for ‘Yuva Bhushan’ and ‘Abhirup Yuva Sandad’ awards. Interested youth can participate on an individual level and send their applications to the organisers. In Goa, Dayanand Kala Kendra has been selected as the associate body that would be responsible to organize the programme in Goa.
The youth intending to participate should be in the age group of 16-25 and would have to undergo aptitude test, problem-solving skills, citizenship, economic literacy which has 150 marks. Those who get a minimum of 75 marks will be allowed to participate in the next round. The selected candidates will be announced on December 7 and they will be available for online interviews on December 12 and 13 from 10 am to 5 pm. The marks for this interview will be 100 (interview 25 marks, spontaneous speech 25 marks, average work efficiency 50 marks). Those who secure 150 marks in both the tests will be offered certificates. A workshop would be conducted on December 17-19 at Ravindra Bhavan Margao for preparation to mock youth parliament. The final round will be in Mumbai on January 12. Due to the pandemic, there are chances of changes in the scheduled programme.
