A 28-year-old scooter rider died in a self-accident in Aldona on Saturday, Mapusa police said.
The deceased, Basappa Hulikar, a native of Karnataka but residing in Khoirut-Aldona, was declared brought dead at the North Goa District Hospital.
According to Mapusa police, the deceased was riding a scooter when he dashed against some cups installed by the roadside on Corjuem Bridge, Aldona and fell on the road.
He was rushed to the North Goa District Hospital, Mapusa but was declared brought dead.
Mapusa Police have registered accidental death.
