PANAJI: Arihant Hospital in Belagavi introduced a Fibroscan machine for advanced liver health diagnostics and treatment in Belagavi and Goa. Sharad Pai, who inaugurated the machine, highlighted its significance in the healthcare landscape of the region. Dr Varadraj Gokak emphasised the liver’s vital role in overall health, stating that early diagnosis of liver-related issues is crucial.
The Fibroscan machine offers a non-invasive method to detect fibrosis efficiently, enabling timely intervention. Dr Gokak noted that liver diseases can result from various factors and affect individuals of all ages.
