PANAJIFine art graduate Simoine Rego will be opening her studio ‘Centre Punch’ displaying her intricate pottery artwork and Christmas collection at Arossim on November 3 at 4.30 pm. Exhibiting her unique cutwork pots, planters, luminaries and vases at various pop-ups, and shows, Simoine’s clay art got special attention at the recently held ‘Matiyeche Fest’ at Pilerne. “I had my first solo exhibition at Quadro Art Gallery in Porvorim which got an overwhelming response,” recalls this bachelor of fine arts from Goa College of Art. Having a diploma in interior designing at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Simoine has been mentored by Valentino Gasper and Clarice Vaz. “This is an informal opening for the public to visit my studio and view my artwork, and there will not be any chief guest on the occasion,” said Simoine, who has mastered in intricate pottery, detailed pots and varieties of luminaries.
