PANAJI“Kantaram Lharham” a Konkani solo and duet singing competition for Margao Deanery and invited Parishes is being organised by St Sebastian Church, Aquem Alto, Margao in association with St Sebastian Sports Club for contestants aged 15 years and above. Last date of submitting the entry forms is November 10. Auditions will be conducted on Nov 15 and the finals will be held on November 27 at 6 pm in the church compound. All participants will receive a participation certificate and the winners will be awarded with a trophy and cash prizes as follows:- Solo category: 1st Place Rs 8000, 2nd Place Rs 6000 & 3rd place Rs 4000. Art studio ‘Centre Punch’ to open today
PANAJIFine art graduate Simoine Rego will be opening her studio ‘Centre Punch’ displaying her intricate pottery artwork and Christmas collection at Arossim on November 3 at 4.30 pm.
