Nehru Yuva Kendra, South Goa organised Run For Unity at Margao to mark the 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (National Unity Day). Margao MLA and ex-Chief Minister Digambar Kamat flagged off the run along with Margao Municipal Chairperson Damu Shirodkar, Deputy Director of NYK Kalidas Ghatwal and NSS University coordinator Dr Nitin Sawant. On the occasion, a 5-km Unity Run was organised from Lohia Maidan to the South Goa Collectorate building. Around 165 youths participated in the Unity Run.

PANAJI“Kantaram Lharham” a Konkani solo and duet singing competition for Margao Deanery and invited Parishes is being organised by St Sebastian Church, Aquem Alto, Margao in association with St Sebastian Sports Club for contestants aged 15 years and above.
