PANAJIAugust 14 has been observed as ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ in India. To observe the Remembrance Day and as instructed by the Ministry of Art and Culture, Government of India, to organise exhibitions on ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ in public places, Krishnadas Shama Goa Central Library had organised an exhibition of books to showcase the suffering of the partition affected people. The main purpose of the exhibition is to highlight the tragedy of the partition and the agony of the people who suffered during the partition.
Sustainable Ganesh idol making workshop held
PANAJIIn view of the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi, Rotaract Club of Panjim in collaboration with Studio 07 conducted Ganesha Idol Clay Moulding workshop on Sunday at Mahalaxmi temple, Panaji. The workshop saw 35 participants from ages 12 to 32 years. The instructor was founder of Studio 07, Apeksha Nadkarni.
