Help and Help Charitable Trust in association with Hospicio, Margao will be organizing a blood donation camp on September 8, 2021, at Carmelite Monastery, Aquem-Margao from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Those willing to donate this gift of life may register by calling the Carmelite Office on Ph: 2735052 during working hours or on 9890211037 / 9822123989, states a press release.
The following is the criteria for eligibility. The health of the donor should be normal, aged between 18 “ 60, donors need to have breakfast, should have had a sound sleep the previous night and should abstain from consuming alcohol and smoking, 24 hours prior, the time period between successive blood donations should not be less than 3 months, those vaccinated can donate only 14 days after they have taken the last dose, those who had Covid, can donate only 45 days after infection.
