MARGAO: Cavelossim Veterans entered the semi-finals after defeating Colva Veterans 1-0 in the Benaulim Constituency 8-a-side football tournament, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim, at Panchayat ground, on Saturday.
The Colva keeper brought up atleast four saves in the match. However, the custodian was unfortunate to concede a goal in the 33rd minute when he misjudged a cross from James Barreto only to see the ball enter the net.
At the other end, Colva missed a couple of chances that came their way due to poor finishing.
