MARGAO: Curtorim Gymkhana registered a solitary goal win against Sporting Club of Davorlim 1-0 in the all Goa inter-village Lourdes festival football tournament, organised by United Club of Utorda in association with Sports Authority of Goa, at SAG ground, Utorda.
Davorlim dominated the proceedings in the first half and the score was 0-0 at the lemon break.
Post resumption, Curtorim Gymkhana adopted a different strategy. Curtorim Defender scored through a defensive lapse when Davorlim keeper missed a collection and defender Nalister took full advantage of the blunder to fire home.
Ignatius Gomes was awarded the man of the match.
