MARGAO: Host Cuncolim Union pipped United Club of Seraulim 1-0 and entered the finals of the Tavares Family Memorial Cup, organised by Cuncolim Union, at Cuncolim ground, on Saturday.

Jollyton Fernandesn etted the match winner in the 21 minute. Cuncolim Union will now play against Chandor Club in the final on February 4. The man of the match award was presented to Seraulim Dickson Rogtao by Shailesh Vaidya.

MARGAO: Ten-man Vasco Sports Club overcame Geno FC 1-0 in the GFA Goa Professional League, at SAG Trinity ground, Benaulim, on Saturday.The match kicked off with Vasco Club bringing along its share of excitement, where showcased a well-coordinated effort between its players and attacked the rival citadel.
