Bhausaheb Bandodkar Technical Education Complex, Farmagudi has informed that the IVth batch of Certificate Course in Library & Information Science (6 months) will begin from May 2 at Goa College of Engineering Library, Farmagudi, Ponda. The course is of six months duration which includes a 45 days internship in a reputed library. This course is mandatory for the applicant who wishes to seek employment in School Libraries, Public Libraries (Grade I & Grade II Librarians) and Library Assistants in other academic/Professional Libraries. The admission for the course will be given on a first come first serve basis as there are only 60 seats available. Those who are employed in the library will be given preference. The minimum requirement to apply is XIIth pass in any stream. Interested students may collect the prospectus from the College Library with effect from April 21.
