Chodankar is Oxel dy sarpanch

Mangesh Chodankar was on Tuesday elected unopposed as deputy sarpanch of Oxel-Siolim panchayat. The post had fallen vacant following the demise of former deputy sarpanch late Surath Vernekar. Chodankar’s candidature was proposed by Sarpanch Vandana Narvekar and seconded by Mahadev Harmalkar. Panchas Pravin Kochrekar, Nutan Banaulikar and Reshal Harmalkar were also present at the meeting.
