Srimati Parvatibai Chowgule College of Margao has won the first prize in the Short Film Contest organised by Goa State AIDS Control Society at Institute Menezes Braganza in Panaji. The award-winning film was directed and edited by Sadanand Prabhugaonkar. The videography was by Sanchay Prabugaonkar. Varad Kamat Yelekar, Dheeraj Mahale, Varad Prabhugaonkar and Devika Sambari acted in this film. Sudhanshu Lolayekar assisted in the production of the film. The response from various other colleges from across Goa was very good and many had participated in the contest. Dr Peter Castalino graced the function as chief guest.
