MAPUSA: There will be a CME (Continuing Medical Education) Programme on Liposarcoma on February 16 at 3 pm in the Pathology department seminar room.
The CME will be chaired by Dr R G Wiseman Pinto, Professor and Head of Pathology Department, Ex-Dean Goa University and Ex-Dean GMC.
The other speakers will be Dr Sudarshan, Department of Surgery GMC, Dr Bhavani H G, Department of Radiology GMC, and Dr Aiswarya A K.
The topics that will be covered include the clinical features, imaging, needle biopsies, genetics and treatment of Liposarcoma.
Liposarcoma is a malignant tumor arising from the fat.
This CME is as per the National Medical Commission (NMC), Goa University, National Education Policy (NEP) and National Board of Examinations guidelines and regulations.
The CME is open to doctors.
