Colva cops rule out foul play in driver's death at Seraulim

MARGAO

The Colva police has ruled out any foul play in the death of the driver of the goods carrier on the Seraulim road, saying the postmortem examination report has attributed the injuries sustained by the deceased to a fall from a height.

The viscera of the deceased, however, have been preserved and will be sent for examination.

Colva police station in-charge, PI Anand Shirodkar said there is no foul play behind the death of the deceased. He said the autopsy report has attributed the injuries on the body of the deceased to a fall from a height.

The young driver of a goods carrier was found dead along the roadside while he had gone to Betalbatim to transport some material. He had called his father on the cell phone. He was later found dead on the roadside.

The police is investigating.
