Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday said the Statewide curfew which was to end on June 28 has been extended until 7 am on July 5. Goa has been under a partial curfew since May 9 with six extensions as the second Covid-19 wave ravaged the State. Cases of the “Delta Plus” mutant said to be the potential trigger for a third wave forecast by experts are said to have weighed in on the government to extend the curfew.
