The Dabolim Airport has seen a large increase in passengers, especially during the weekends.
While the number of domestic passengers have been on the rise, the number of aircraft operating at Dabolim Airport has also been on a steady rise.
According to a tweet by airport officials, Dabolim Airport had a busy weekend on Sunday with around 70 arrivals and departures.
"Goa International Airport had a busy weekend yesterday with 70 Arrivals and 70 Departures and a total passenger footfall of 19,862 (8,224 arrival passengers and 11,638 departure passengers). Team Goa ensured all assistance for smooth movement of passengers " said a tweet by Goa Airport.
