Datta Jayanti utsav at Brahmakaramali, Dattawadi

Shree Dattajayanti Mahotsava will be celebrated at Brahma Karmali, Kadambwadi Valvant on December 18 with bhajan-kirtan programmes and chanting from sunrise to sunset. The programme will begin at 8 am with devkrutya, mahapuja, abhishek till 11 am, and thereafter kirtan on Datta janma by Gurudasbua Sutar. He will be accompanied by Manoj Ganpule on harmonium and Dynaneshwar Naik on table. Thereafter Datta janma ritual, maha aarti, tirth prasad and mahaprasad will follow.  Swateja Premanand and Sushant Gawas will present Indian classical vocals, accompanied by Umesh Laxman Bottarkar on table. Shree Kuldevi Sateri Bhajan Mandal will present bhajans in the evening. Another programme on Datta jayanti will be held at Shree Saunsthan Dattawadi Sankhalim on December 18 and 19, on a limited scale. The temple will be opened for the public on December 18 at 7 am and the devotees can offer flowers in a container. There will be kirtan and palna vidhi before palkhi utsav and aarti. On the next day, on December 19 there will be rituals, aarti and tirth prasad, said Dr Jayant Budkule, secretary, management committee of the Shree Saunsthan Dattawadi, Sankhalim.
