The annual sports meet of Dnyanprassarak Vidyalaya, Mapusa was recently held at the Duler Football Stadium, Mapusa. The meet started with the unfurling of the school flag, guard of honour followed by oath, torch relay and welcome dance.
Vaishnavi Arolkar bagged the best sports person award while the best House award for the march past was awarded to the Yellow House.
The chief guest for the meet Deputy Speaker and Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza in his speech stressed on the importance of sports and the balance of academics and co-curricular activities in everyone’s life.
The Chairman of Vaishya Mandal, Abhay Gawandalkar and member of Dnyanprassarak Mandal Kamalakant Poulekar were the guests of honour.
