PANAJI: Kalji, a prominent organisation dedicated to promoting social welfare and community engagement, joined hands with Vidya Prabhodini College, Porvorim to organise an insightful talk on drug abuse awareness. The event was held on June 26 to coincide with the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The talk was delivered by Dr Shankar Komarpant, a retired Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) from the Goa Police Force.
To raise awareness and educate the youth about the dangers of drug abuse, the collaborative effort between Kalji and Vidya Prabhodini College proved to be a significant step forward in combating this pressing issue.
