An e-book titled 'The Final Diagnosis - Osteogenic Sarcoma (Osteosarcoma)' has been released in Goa Medical College. The e-book is edited by Dr R G Wiseman Pinto, Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology, GMC, and President of the Asian Society of Cytopathology, and Dr Jerzy Klijanienko, Professor & Head of the Pathology Department, Curie Institute, France, and President of EFCS (European Federation of Cytology Societies). The book is produced by both the Asian Society of Cytopathology and the European Federation of Cytology Societies. It is dedicated to Dr K K Unni, ex-Surgical Pathologist and Bone Pathologist, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA. The contributors to the e-book are: Dr Nirmala Janbhehur, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, Dr Bharat Rekhi, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, Dr Zelio D'Mello, Dr P Desai, Dr Lon Furtado, Dr Jerzy Klijanienko and Dr Wiseman Pinto. The topics covered include osteogenic sarcoma, cytology, clinico-pathological spectrum, diagnosis imagining and treatment. An article on the work of Dr K K Unni is also included.
