PANAJIOn the occasion of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebration, Goa State Disabilities Commission will be organising a fancy dress contest for Divyang students between the age group 6-18 on the theme, ‘Person who has contributed remarkably for the development of India’. Many people have contributed extensively in various fields like science, agriculture, industrialisation, economy, art, innovation etc. The aim of the contest is to introduce these great examples to today’s generation on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day. The parents or teachers of those students who wish to participate in this contest should send a one minute video of the speech given by the student by email on [email protected] along with the name of the Divyang student, age, name of the school, Divyang ID card. There is no restriction of any language. Those Divyang students having speech issues can send their videos in sign language. The last date to send such videos is August 13.
