The staff and students of Fr Agnelo Primary School, Curchorem along with the parishioners of Guardian Angel Church, Curchorem celebrated the birthday of their Manager/Parish Priest Fr Vital Miranda in the church premises on Thursday. The celebration began with a Eucharistic celebration with Assistant Parish Priest Fr Jovier Barretto, Principal of Hotel Management and Catering Institute, Fr Joaquim Rebello and Fr Anthony Silva with Fr Miranda who was the main celebrant. Wishing him a good and prosperous life, Fr Barretto said that Fr Miranda is a person with a progressive mind, bristling with new ideas and his administrative qualities are a driving force in pastoral work. Sweets were distributed after cutting the cake to mark the occasion. Meanwhile, the Feast of Guardian Angel will be celebrated at Guardian Angel Church on November 13. Novena will commence from November 4 and the masses will be at 6.30 am and 5 pm followed by salve.
