The department of health in Goa, under its programme ‘Vision for all’ is organising a free camp for eye check-up and surgeries at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhalim on December 24. The needy will be distributed spectacles and eye surgeries also will be done free of cost here. The camp will begin at 10 am in the morning in the presence of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Union minister Shripad Naik and health minister Vishwajit Rane. The camp is sponsored by Prasad Netralaya Udupi, Netra Jyoti Trust Udupi, Colour Cone Asia and Vision Bangalore. Those who wish to get their eyes checked and get eye surgeries done, can avail the free facilities, says the press release.
