As part of a promotional appraisal, the initiative of FSAI student chapter at Don Bosco College of Engineering (Fatorda) in association with Goa Chapter and Bengaluru Chapter of Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) will be organizing a webinar on net positive energy buildings (NPEB) on November 28 at 9.30-11 am. The speaker is Dr Rupesh Iyengar, Bengaluru chapter president, FSAI. Dr Iyengar is a high-performance building designer, who won a gold medal in Sustainability from the National University of Singapore. He designs five-star hotels, luxury apartments, commercial offices, hospitals in India and Asia, with many of his projects bagging global awards.
Currently, there is a dire necessity for energy conservation in buildings across the world irrespective of whether they are residential, public, commercial, industrial or otherwise.
