Gardener dies in Tivim road mishap

A 42-year-old gardener from Gothnicho Vhaal in Colvale died in a road mishap at Madel-Tivim on Wednesday. According to Colvale police, the incident took place at about 3.30 pm when Ganesh Mandal was riding his scooter from Madel to Karaswada.He is reported to have lost control of his scooter. He was rushed to Mapusa District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. A Colvale police team went to the site and conducted the panchanama. The police have detained the truck driver.
