Goa recorded a spurt in covid cases today with 148 of the 4,678 samples testing positive on Tuesday. The positivity rate now stands at 3.1per cent. Also, with four more deaths during the past 24 hours the victim toll stands at 3140.

PANAJI Goa government on Tuesday approved the enhanced rate of Dearness Allowance(DA) of 28 % with effect from July 1,2021 to its employees and employees of GIA Educational Institutions. The new DA rates will be paid from the month of August 2021 onwards along with the arrears for the month of July 2021.
