PANAJI: The Goa University has selected the men football team for the West Zone inter-university football men championship, which is scheduled from December 31 to January 2, at HSNC University, Mumbai.
The kit distribution and farewell function for the teams were organised on December 29, at the Sports Section, Goa University, in the presence of Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University, Dr. Shailendra Gaonkar, Assistant Sports Officer, Goa University along with Siddesh Kesarkar, team manager.
The following players will represent Goa University: Sevon Costa, Hrushikesh Kinlekar, Wesley D’sa, Anuj Kuttikar, Laston Barreto, Adarsh Raj MR, Akash Singh, Aeren Figueiredo, Wagish Mishra, Atmaram Jadhav, Manjunath Chavhan, Alent Colaco, Pushkar Prabhu, Aryan Salunkhe, Vishal Das, Aman Govekar, Tarak Kandolkar, Jeff Dias, Edwin Kalsolkar, Vishesh Nasnodkar, Ajay Raj and Kenny Joseph Rodrigues.
