PANAJIDr Anika Prabhu Parrikar, who has scored 6th rank in All India, has secured admission in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Jodhpur for doing her three-year super-speciality course in lungs and sleep disorders. Dr Parrikar, who graduated from Goa Medical College (GMC), had done her post-graduation MD course in lung disorders. After the MD degree, she worked at GMC as senior doctor in the lung department for three years. Currently working as lung consultant at various hospitals, among which are Healthway (Old Goa), Trinity (Miramar) and Wisdom Hospital (Panaji), Dr Parrikar has also completed the specialised DNB and IDRM courses too. Now she will be getting her three-year super-speciality degree from Jodhpur AIIMS.
