Goa’s premium packaged drinking water “Goan Sip” has added another feather to its cap. Launched exactly eight months ago on February 9, Goan Sip has obtained ISO 22000:2018 certification from international quality monitoring organization.
A product of Johan’s Water Resources, Goan Sip has been assessed and found to be in conformance with the requirements set by ISO 22000:2018 for the manufacture and supply of packaged drinking water.
Johan’s Water Resources has set up one of the states of the art plant in Goa. Saturnino Rodrigues said Sip has unique bottles, very rarely found in the market, making it consumer-friendly.
“Though it was caught in a pandemic soon after its launch, it has survived the impact and has been floating. It has risen to new heights due to the consumer demand in the market,” he added.
Saturnino said Johan’s Water Resources has now launched a new variant of 20 litres, with the owners saying that will be with a special rate for the local community as a gesture.
