PANAJI: The comunidade of Goltim-Divar held a Bhikareanchem Jevonn (Beggars’ Meal) on Sunday, combining prayers and fellowship. Despite the scarcity of beggars and the absence of floor seating, the event featured authentic traditional food.
The meal, prepared by Nazareth”son of the renowned late Lia”along with his wife and sister-in-law, included brown ‘korgut’ rice, sambarachi kodi, tendli torkari, pumpkin melgor, toillo bangddo (mackerel), and onn (aka vonn).
