MARGAO: Guardian Angel Sports Club, Sanvordem blanked St Rock Youth Club, Calata-Majorda 3-0 to move to the quarter-finals of the St Rock super soccer Calata Majorda, in memory of Sebastiao Cirilio Dias football tournament, at Calata Majorda ground, on Monday.
Guardian Angel netted the first goal of the match through Aron Fernandes in the 25th minutes. Aron Fernandes further inflated the lead for Guardian Angel in the 27th minute. Russel Monteiro of Majorda missed the chance to score in the 47th minute.
Substitute Keagen Fernandes of Guardian Angel too recorded his name on the scoresheet in the 50th minute.
The man of the match award was presented to Aaron Fernandes of Guardian Angel SC by Revon Braganza.
