The results of all-Goa Christmas Crib contest have been announced by the Directorate of Art and Culture and winners in organisational as well as individual participation category are announced. A total of 40 individual contestants and 20 organisations had participated in the contest. In the organisation category, the first prize of Rs 25,000 is won by Holy Cross Malar Boys, Khursabhat Vellim. The second prize of Rs 20,000 went to Holy Cross Boys, Khamamal Curchorem and the third prize of Rs 15,000 was won by Shining Star Dalape Verna. There were five consolation prizes of Rs 7,000 too which were given to Poryebhat Alva Verna, St Joseph Crib Rasai Loutolim, Crib Boys of St Istavav, St Francis Xavier Chapel Youth, Maigal Shiroda and United Boys of Chandrawadi Fatorda. In the individual participation category the first prize of Rs 15,000 was bagged by Sebi Afonso of St Istvan Palmar. The second prize of Rs 10,000 was pocketed by Francis Xavier D’Souza from Valdariswado Marna Siolim while Luis Joseph Fernandes of Vhadle bhat Taleigao won the third prize of Rs 7500. Five consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 each were given to Sabina Rodrigues, Chawdewada Parse, Duan A Pereira Gauswada Mapusa, Estella Jacinth D’Souza Narve Divadi, Veron Rocha, Dicarpal Naveli, Melvyn Minguel Fernandes, Santacr uz Ponda.
