IMA Bicholim branch and CHC Bicholim together organized an awareness programme on ‘Safe motherhood’, ‘Covid vaccination in pregnancy’ and ‘World population day’ at Tari Hall for women from the locality. Speaker Rajesh Patnekar was present at the occasion with IMA Bicholim branch president Dr Medha Salkar, past president Dr Shekhar Salkar, members Kaustubh Patnekar, Dr Mithun Mahatme and others. The speakers covered various topics, Dr Mithun covered safe motherhood, Dr Medha spoke on world population day as well as vaccination in pregnant women. The queries from people were answered by the doctors. Speaker Rajesh Patnekar lauded IMB Bicholim for causing awareness on burning topics and appreciated the work done by the covid warriors in Bicholim.
