The Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol will organise its annual Inter-Religious Fellowship on October 2 from 3 pm to 5 pm at its auditorium. The theme chosen for this event is ‘Being Humane is being Holy’ and resource persons representing Hindu, Muslim and Christian communities will share their experiences as well as their respective religious traditions, teachings and perspectives on the topic. “Being Humane and being Holy are not contradictory. More humane we are, more Holy we become. It is unfortunate, but a fact of life that the world we live in is marked by an attitude of selfishness and self-righteousness. Today, more than ever before, we are confronted with a paradoxical phenomenon where God is treated less important than the religion,” states a press note from Rachol Seminary.
