The Konkan Railway police station has arrested a lady national of Ivory Coast for staying in Goa allegedly on a fake visa. Konkan railway police station in-charge, PI Hiru Kavlekar informed that the lady was found at the Thivim railway station on Thursday. When she was questioned by an ANC team over her presence and upon a search conducted, it was revealed that that lady had a fake visa. The police has registered an offense against the Ivory Coast national under section 465, 471 IPC and section 7(3) (1) of the Foreigners Order and under sec 14 of foreigners act. PI Hiru said the foreigner has been sent to Judicial custody.
