PORVORIM : Students of Jnyan Vikas School put up an impressive show at the Independence Day Rope Skipping Competition organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Peddem Sports Complex.
In the Under-16 Girls category, Tiya Kumar secured first place with 210 skips in a minute. In the Under-16 Boys group, Atharva Somani took second place with 206 skips. Aastha Desai won third place in the Under-12 Girls category with 148 skips.
The winners were trained by teacher Vinda. The school management congratulated the students, praising their effort and sportsmanship.
