Speaker of Karnataka Assembly Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri paid a courtesy visit to Goa Legislative Assembly, Porvorim on March 14. Speaker Goa Legislative Assembly Rajesh Patnekar welcomed him and discussed issues regarding proactive procedures followed in both Legislative Assemblies.

PANAJI Governor of Goa Bhagat Singh Koshyari has condoled the demise of eminent Goan artist Padma Bhushan Laxman Pai. The Governor said that he is deeply saddened with the passing away of Laxman Pai. "With his death, Goa has lost a jewel. His immense contribution in the field of art will always be remembered. I convey my heartfelt sympathies to his bereaved family," the Governor said, as Informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
