KBM to hold ‘Bhas-Samvad’

Konkani Bhasha Mandal (KBM) Goa has organized ‘Bhas-Samvad’ program from this year on the occasion of International Mother Language Day. The Mandal will host a dialogue between youth and academics with noted Goan writers Damodar Mauzo and Mahabaleshwar Sail. The event will be held on February 21 at 9.30 am at the Ravindra Bhavan in Margao and attended by students and teachers.

KBM’s academic awards and scholarships will be presented at the event.

PANAJIMOHAN Foundation, in association with SOTTO Goa - NAVE JIVIT - conducted an organ donation awareness programme at St Mary’s Convent High School, Mapusa recently.The speaker for the programme was Dr Preeti Varghese, Joint Director of SOTTO Goa and NAVE JIVIT, the organ transplant programme initiative of the Goa government. Dr Varghese showed a PowerPoint to the students.
