PANAJI: The Konkani Bhasha Mandal (KBM) has invited nominations for its service, teaching, journalism, activism, columnist and a newly launched ‘Youth Literature’ award by July 31. Apart from this the awards for children’s literature and translation will also be presented on KBM’s 61st Foundation Day on September 30.
Books published between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2022 will be eligible for the fiction, poetry, drama, theatre, novel, play, essay, research, translation and children’s literature awards this year. The awards are given to books written in Roman and Devanagari scripts. Writers, publishers and activists from Goa will be considered for the awards. The award will be given to a young writer up to 35 years of age for his/her overall literary contribution. The nominations as well as nominations for books should be sent to KBM office by July 31, 2023 or emailed to [email protected].
