The Lalit Kala Akademi awards scholarship to young and budding artists every year. The objective of this scholarship scheme is to provide these young artists a work space where their skills can be improved and they develop innovative ideas in their respective fields of visual arts. The registered scholars under this scheme are awarded Rs 20,000 per month for a period of 12 months. Limited number of application forms are available in the Office of Kala Academy Goa, Adil Shah Palace (Old Sect), Panaji, during Office hours i.e. 9.30 am to 1.15 pm and 2 pm to 5.45 pm.
