PANAJI: Green Club a group that has been promoting kitchen gardening and composting techniques in Goa since 2014, will organise a kitchen gardening and composting workshop at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on 27 Oct from 2.30pm onwards.
Dr Eleuterio and Juliet Vaz e Carneiro, Goa’s well known ‘green couple’, will be the resource persons for the workshop.
The workshop will also cover upcoming winter crop, controlling plant disease, backyard composting and waste management techniques and other vital aspects which can be managed in home backyards.
For city dwellers with space constraints, potting techniques, growing plants and vegetables in pots will also be taught. On the spot registrations will be accepted.
